In today’s world, the noise and chaos of society is huge and is distracting us from our bigger goals of being happy and healthy. Professional and personal responsibilities structure our lives in a manner where time management and organization become essential components to maintaining stability. We can get things done and achieve our goals, but to maintain this cycle in a repetitive manner is exhausting, draining, and challenging because you must hunt for that energy within. If this is how you feel, you are at the right place!

You are not alone in feeling how you feel! The reality of experiencing this is not only scary but can cause you to cycle within igniting self-doubt questions to arise such as:

  • Is something wrong with me?
  • Why do I feel this way?
  • Am I good enough?

It’s a lot to process and take in! Allow yourself to acknowledge this by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Remember, those are your lungs that you are using to breathe. So, you are in control over them in the same manner as you are in control over your life! As for the above questions, let’s talk about them!

Is something wrong with me?

As you breathe, let’s do our body scan and identify if anything hurts physically, mentally, and or emotionally. Why do I feel this way?

You are a very important person that has a lot to offer in the multiple relationships that you are part of on a daily basis in both your professional and personal aspects of life. The fact that you feel the way that you do is understandable given the stress that you are under daily. Feeling de-energized and exhausted might be occurring because you are experiencing a spillover effect of responsibilities that puts you in the self-sacrificing cycle of prioritizing everyone else except you.

Being stuck in this cycle, seven days a week 365 days a year has an eventual but ultimate destination of burnout occurring in the future. Stress is real! Burnout can affect you on levels physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually causing you to feel stuck and alone. You’re feeling self-conscious, misunderstood, and unheard, causing you to internalize your feelings and emotions more rather than expressing them in a healthy manner.

Am I good enough?

This a question that can rock your core because it literally gets you into your conscious awareness of who you are and what your capabilities are! This question causes you to think about all the responsibility forces that have bombarded you professionally, socially, spiritually, and personally in a manner where you cumulatively identify everything you have done to present time as a means of defining your self-value and self- worth!

The answer to “Am I good enough?” is always, YES YOU ARE!!!

You are always good enough because you are a walking imperfection that is equivalent to a work of art in motion! You are constantly changing, maturing, developing, and becoming a better version of yourself! As for the direction and path of your growth process, there will be challenges and obstacles that you will have to move through.

But this is not something completely foreign to you. Understanding new and different things is something that you are knowledgeable in doing because this process of learning has gotten you here to this blogging webpage! So yes, you are good enough because you have survived a lot to be here and make it to this point of your life.

Giving up and quitting are options, but they are not the options for you! Considering everything that you have endured, you have proven to yourself that you matter! Your purpose is defined by the directional forces of your decision-making choices that transcend you forward towards your goals, your dreams, and your hopes.

Keep on surviving and living! You are worth it!
